Farm Labor Supervisor Training

UF/IFAS Extension is offering a one-day training program in English or Spanish for anyone who supervises farm/ag labor including growers, contractors, crew leaders, drivers, and office staff.  In our area, the program will be held at the Gulf Coast Research and Education Center in Wimauma on Wednesday, October 17, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

This core program will cover legal compliance issues in 4 key areas:  Wage and Hour; HR Compliance; WPS, Field Sanitation, and Food Safety; and Safe Driving.  The fee is $10 per unit or $40 for the whole day and participants receive an Attendance Certificate for each unit.  Lunch will be provided with registration for at least 2 core units.

Registration information can be found on our Ornamental Production web page under Upcoming Events or by following this link: .
